Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Tranno Robotics Inc. (operating as Tranno) ("TrannoBook", "we") for the TrannoBook job assistant. By texting START and tapping I agree, you accept them.

The service

TrannoBook is an assistant you use over WhatsApp. It reads the receipts, photos, documents and messages you send, files them in your own Google Drive, keeps your job records in your own Google Sheet, and drafts quotes, change orders and messages to your clients. It is for business use by contractors and their crew.

Your Google account

You connect your own Google account. We ask only for access to the files the app creates or that you choose to give it. You can disconnect at any time from your Google account settings or by texting "delete everything".

Your content

Your files, records and messages stay yours. You let us process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy notice. You are responsible for having the right to send us what you send, including your clients' information.

Messages to your clients

Nothing is sent to a client until you tap Send, and you can undo it for a few minutes after. You are responsible for what you send and for having your clients' permission to message them. Every message names your business and lets the client reply STOP; once they do, we won't message them again.

Check the numbers

TrannoBook uses AI to read receipts and messages, and it can make mistakes. Check amounts, totals, taxes and quotes before relying on them or sending them. TrannoBook is not tax, accounting or legal advice.

Acceptable use

Don't use TrannoBook for spam, unlawful content, or to message people who haven't agreed to hear from you. Don't try to access other users' data or disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Plans and fees

The Free plan costs nothing: the WhatsApp assistant with up to 50 receipts, 100 photos and 200 answered messages a month, without human support. Paid plans and add-ons, billed monthly in advance:

Services we do for you are agreed separately, on an order form or invoice that names the work, the price and the dates: Website build ($1,500–2,500 one time (half up front, the rest at launch)); Site takeover (we rebuild the site you have, move the domain, keep every old link working) ($750 one time (half up front, the rest at launch)); Google Business Profile setup from scratch (profile, categories, hours, service areas, first photos, and help through Google's verification — Google decides the outcome) ($249 one time, paid up front; free with Profile + Website + SEO; connecting a profile you already have is free); Google Business Profile fix (suspended, duplicate, or lost ownership) ($399 one time, paid up front); Business email on your domain (Google Workspace setup) ($149 one time, paid up front; Google's per-user fee is paid by you); ChatGPT / Google ads, run for you (ad spend paid to the platform by you) (from $1,000 a month). If we become required to collect sales tax where you are, it is added to your bill and we tell you first. Ad spend is paid by you to the ad platform. Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card.

Automatic renewal

A paid plan or add-on renews automatically every month, and the card or account you gave is charged each month, until you cancel. You agree to this when you tick the terms box at checkout. You can cancel at any time, the same way you signed up: text "cancel my plan" in the chat, or use the billing link we send you. Cancelling stops the next charge; the plan stays on until the end of the month already paid, then you are on the free plan. Months already paid are not refunded, unless the law says otherwise. An add-on you drop stops at once and the unused part of that month comes off your next bill. If a payment has failed when you cancel, we cancel at once and cancel the unpaid bill. If we raise a price, we tell you by text at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

Ending

You can stop at any time: text "delete everything" and we erase what we keep and disconnect. Your Drive files and Sheet stay yours. We may end the service, or a plan, with 30 days' notice by text, and refund any month paid but not provided. We may suspend an account at once for a serious breach of these terms (for example spam or unlawful content).

Your data: you own it, we process it for you

You are the owner of your business data and your clients' information, and you decide what happens to it. We process it only on your behalf and only to provide the service (in privacy law terms, you are the business or controller and we are your service provider or processor). We don't sell it or share it for advertising. The providers that help us run the service are listed in our privacy notice and are bound to the same limits. Your files, amounts and clients' details stay in your Google Drive and Sheet, not on our servers.

Aggregate data

We may combine de-identified information from many contractors into statistics (for example typical job sizes by type of work and area) to improve the product and publish industry reports. Such statistics never name you, your clients or an address: areas are no finer than the first three characters of a Canadian postal code or a five-digit US ZIP code, and a figure is only published when it comes from at least five different contractors. We keep it de-identified, never try to re-identify anyone, and require anyone we give it to to do the same.

Photos you post

A job photo goes public (your Google profile, Instagram, Facebook, your website) only after you tap Post for it. Before posting we blur faces, licence plates and house numbers we can detect; detection is not perfect, so look before you tap. You confirm you have the right to post the photos you approve, and you let us copy, resize and post them for you. You can ask us to stop serving a posted copy at any time.

No warranty; liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we tell you by text before the change applies.
