North American Compliance, Coordinated

CE is not recognized in Canada. We coordinate the compliant path onto the plant floor — CSA / cUL field evaluation, CSA Z432 / Z434 risk assessment, Ontario PSR — working with accredited bodies and licensed engineers, through to sign-off.

Integration

Fitting the robot into how your plant actually runs — the forms, the crane schedule, the people on either side of it. Not a fenced cell dropped in a corner.

The Environment

This is not a clean factory floor.

Generic integrators are built for automotive and packaging: sealed halls, fixed takt, a fenced cell on a painted floor. A precast plant is a different animal, and the difference is exactly where deployments die:

  • Concrete dust and form-release agent settle on everything — unsealed electronics and standard grippers do not last a season
  • Wash-down zones, wet casts, and steam curing put moisture where the datasheet says there should not be any
  • Rebar, mesh, and lifting anchors mean parts that are never quite identical — a robot that needs perfect parts will stand idle
  • Forms and molds cycle on curing schedules, not conveyor speed — the robot has to fit the schedule, the schedule will not fit the robot
  • The workflow is mixed manual and mechanical: cranes overhead, people on both sides — safety assessment is the job, not a checkbox
  • The hardest stations — demolding, finishing, lifting — are the ones with the highest turnover. That is where a robot earns its keep first.

Your product is ready. North America is not a product problem — it is a compliance and service problem. CE does not transfer. Certification findings come back in English to an engineering team that works in Chinese. Customers expect a local phone number and someone who shows up. Shipping a unit back across the Pacific for warranty work costs more than the margin on the sale.

We are based in Toronto and we cover that gap:

Tranno Robotics puts robots to work in construction manufacturing — precast concrete plants, prefab and modular component manufacturers, and building material fabrication shops across North America.

Our founders include construction engineers and IT engineers, with more than ten years of hands-on construction industry experience. That combination is the point: robotics companies have the technology but not the trade knowledge; construction manufacturers have the production problems but not the engineering. We sit in the middle, on the plant floor.

The founding team also carries decades of industrial automation and systems integration work delivered in Asia — Delta, Yokogawa, Xylem, and Siemens product lines, stated as background only; no current authorization implied. We work in English and Chinese.
